Episode 43: The way we buy cars is changing... Is this the death of the car configurator?

This week, the boys are discussing something of a sismic shift in the way we buy cars... and not how we finance them, no, how we actually choose and spec them.

Go to any legacy brand and you get the same experience... several models with several engines, several trims with several colours and then countless options on top of that.

New challenger brands have made it simpler, much simpler. One or two engine choices, two trim levels, six colours and no options. 

So what does that mean for new buyers now and the second hand market in years to come... time for a coffee.
